    glock 20sf conversion question

Picking up a 40 s&w coversion barrel. Do I need to buy 40 s&w mags for my 20sf or will the 10mm mags work?

Stock 10mm barrel and 10mm mags. No need to change anything.

Really? I thought the barrel needed to be changed.

What about 357 sig or 9x25?

.40 is a shortened 10mm. Think shooting 38 in a 357 mag gun. 357 sig and 9x25 will require different barrels and mags.

Glock 10MM mags will run .40, .357 SIG and 9X25.

10MM barrel out of a Glock only, will run .40

To run .357SIG and 9X25 you need barrels for those calibers.

Some people do buy the .40 barrel anyway, and that's fine.

By the way, they don't make .40 mags that will fit inside a Glock 20/21 frame.
They fit in a Glock 22 smaller frame.

Like everyone else said. Just shoot the .40s out of the stock barrel. Its safe and still plenty accurate. Take that $100-$200 you save and either buy ammo or buy the conversion barrel for the 357 SIG or 9x25 Dillon.
