New Shop - Gun Vault, Mountain View

So I was eating some teriyaki at Happi House in Mountain View today. I was munching of some chicken, looking out the windows and a black banner with white letter stuck out, it read "Gun Vault", with cross hairs between Gun and Vault. I thought I knew of every shop in the Bay Area but never heard of the "Gun Vault", so I was curious what was going on. Luckily I was with a fellow gun owner and I told him we need to do a little investigation. We rolled on over and looked in the windows. We see light construction, glass cases, rifle racks, and a gentleman headed our way. He pokes his head out of the door (first think I notice is a Noveske hat on his head), He informs us he's getting his stock in next week and open the next. He told us he will be carrying AR's with BB and properly configured AKs, and probably some other stuff, but the AR/AK part was all I needed to hear because if you carry those, other rifles/pistols aren't really a big deal. We both smile and tell him we'll be back to check his shop out when he opens.

This is great news! There use to be a gun store at El Camino Real and Castro Street in Mountain View, Eddy's Gunshop. It folded back in 2001.

I wonder if they are related?

Is it just me or do I smell a Calguns meet and greet opportunity there?! I think we should find a day that a bunch of us Calgunners can show up together after they open for business to give them our support with our wallets and our encouragement. Is there anyone else in agreement with me?

yep i saw it driving my 18 wheeler down the el camino, i caught it out of the corner of my eye. its just south of castro street in mountain veiw, pretty small parking lot - im not sure how im gonna get the truck into it.....
