Concealed Handgun Permit in Colorado

This morning I called the Sheriff's office and asked for an appointment for a concealed license. I was told to have the form filled out, and the $112.50 in exact change so they can get me in and out as fast as possible at my appointment tomorrow at 10:45.

It's amazing to be in a place like this. However, I do miss the ocean.

Some interesting things about Colorado CCW laws...
1. Colorado does not issue non-resident carry permits.
2. Colorado does not honor non-resident permits of States they honor.
(Examples... CO honors resident permits from AZ, FL & UT; CO does not honor non-resident permits from AZ, FL & UT.)

What county is Colorado Springs ?

Regarding the lack of Ocean, I suggest the OP enjoy one of the many cruise ships offering low rates from Miami Florida or Long Beach, Ca. Often times airfare is included !


My GF got her CCW from the county Sheriff. IIRC she had to wait a few weeks to get hers !

El Paso county. They like to pretend they're Texas around here. They even import some Texas only and Texas started businesses. They carried Shiner Bock before it went national also.
