    Robot Assistance

    Soooo ......

Basically the definition of a Semi Automatic firearms is basically any firearm that fires one round per pull of the trigger.

A machinegun is defined and any firearm that shoots more than 1 round per trigger pull or continuously while the trigger is activated.

No where does it state that there is any limit to how fast you can pull a trigger on a semi automatic firearm AND no where does it state a human has to do the pulling.

    Hmmmmmmm ........

The idea I have is to make a robotic hand that pulls the trigger on a firearm with no modifications to the firearm. The robotic hand would have a controller that regulated how fast the robotic finger would activate.

Anyone here show any laws that say that it would be illegal to use a robotic hand ( looks like a human hand) to activate a firearm trigger???

(Yes I am bored BUT I could not think of any way this would be currently illegal)

There are laws against it in CA. In summary, you can't have a device that activates the trigger to assimilate full-auto. A "Hellfire" semi-auto trigger activator is illegal in California for the same reason; I suspect they would see a robotic hand activating a semi-auto trigger in a way to assimilate full auto as an illegal activator.

    Sorry.
