Do you use ammo found on the ground at range?

Every trip to the range that I go to, I always find ammo on the ground. It ranges from .22lr to .45acp so I load them in the mags and shoot them.

Do you guys use them or avoid them like bubonic plague?

No way will i shoot range pickups. Not worth the risk at all.

I will still take em as they have component value for reloading.

They are only on the ground because they FTF'd in my gun. About the only thing that won't feed for me is a cheap reload with a bent casing. BUT if you want to put it in your weapon, go ahead, it's your fingers.

We already have the only reasonable Gun Control we need, It's called the Second Amendment and it's the government it controls.

The question should be why would you?

I'll use it if I find a box of it on the ground, but not loose shells. Too dangerous.

Risk my $500+ firearm (and possibly life and limb) for a $0.50 round of ammo? No thanks.
I've never seen an American flag burned at a gun show.

Maybe it's there because someone was careless.

Maybe it's there because it was in a batch of reloads and the the previous rnd blew up the gun, destroyed the mag and scattered the remaining rounds .. odds are better at winning the lottery, but people win the lottery.

Thanks for not insulting me. Points well taken guys. Don't want to ruin my guns and hands. All those time that I foolishly used them glad that not one went kaboom!

Its about as wise as eating a hamburger from a bag you found on your sidewalk.

                              All votes NO.
My firearm and hand and face are worth more to me.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.
