    New Vista gun store?

Anyone been to the new gun store in Vista? Its Called Empowered Firearms & Training. They just opened and they have 2 simulators..as well as guns and accessories. I went to their "soft opening" last Saturday, and the place seems to be pretty cool.. Is there any other places offering simulators to the public? They said they were adding more inventory daily, but I have not been back to see whats new.. Maybe they will be at Del Mar crossroads?!

Are they more of a training facility that sells firearms as a small portion of the business or are they doing the training as a smaller part? I just looked at the info from the webpage, very informative website for new/newer gun owners but it seemed to look like more of a training facility.

I would call them as a GUN STORE with training.. they had XD, GLOCK, S&W, and some assorted long guns on Saturday. The owners are passionate about training and gun safety. One the the owners is a woman and really wants to get more ladies involved and trained. The simulator room had a HUGE screen with surround sound. I cant wait to try that again!!

classes They said they are working on:
          - 1st time gun owner/handler classes
          - basic self defense (they have a "karate" room)
          - I think they were talking about a Mother/kid class also..

Its cool that they are looking for input from "us" as to what we would like to see them sell or classes "we" want.

They have some neat training equipment for salethat i have not seen before that is great for at home use with a computer / webcam and laser training guns or drop-in kits for your gun.. I don't remember the name of the stuff though.

I am hoping to go on Saturday, then Xroads on sunday!!

Just stopped by today, hopefully they'll do well.

They're planning on a skeet/trap simulator, and also a shoot house setup in the basement. They have lots of plans, hope they come to fruition.
