    XCR mag lock?

is anybody making a mag lock for the XCR? i know LWR is selling a CA compliant XCR that has some type of mag lock but i don't see it listed separately on their web site.

last i looked the bullet button was the most popular system out there but if their is more than one type for the XCR i would appreciate your recommendations. thanks.

I believe it's the same AR maglock that's used on the XCR.

thanks for the replies. for some reason i thought you had to replace the mag catch which is different for the XCR. is the BB still the best way to go or are there better options available now?

most of my AR"s are registered so i haven't kept up with the different mag locks.

robarms is cali friendly. they'll configure you a rifle either way (bullet button or monster man grip) and that being the case any of their dealers can source you one. you want to go with a dealer cuz ordering off their site may be a little expensive.

i already own one but it stays at my house in NV. i plan on bringing it to my house in CA after i make it compliant. i am installing a non-folding retractable stock and mag lock. that should make me good to go. i just need to decide which mag lock.

again thanks for the replies. i think maybe i was not clear enough in my original post. i am very aware of what i need to do to make my gun CA compliant. what i needed clarification on was if a mag lock was made for the XCR.

now that i understand the XCR and AR use the same mag lock that part of the question has been answered. now all i need to know is if the BB or BB2 is still the preferred style of mag lock or if there is a better model currently available. thanks.

                    call and ask RobArm

they have one on their CA model, just call and ask which one they installed.

Since you already own one....the folder is ok if you run a long version break. Overall length should be +30". Whats your barrel length now?
