LA Ranges that allow exposed lead jacketed ammo??

I'm in LA for the next couple of weeks and want to shoot my hand loads for 357. So far my search for a range that allows for this type of ammo does not exist. I have verified LAX, LA Gun Club, La Puente indoor and a few others nearby that won't allow my ammo. What gives? Is there a place in or near the LA area where I can shoot my ammo?

I once shot at an indoor range in Ventura that didn't allow hollow point, but I've never heard of a range that didn't allow lead core copper jacketed bullets. What bullet are you shooting?

        try contacting this range.

other than that you will have to drive to angeles shooting range.

if your near the 5frwy or 210 frwy the drive is not bad early weekend mornings. its a outdoor range. as long as the bullet does not attract a magnet,
        you can shoot it.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

Might be hard to find an indoor range in LA that allows any bullet other than FMJ, excluding .22 cal.

For outdoor ranges, Angeles Shooting Range allows it. Oaktree also does, except that in their pistol bay with plates, they don't allow magnum. They allow it in their rifle range where you can also shoot your pistols.

Thanks for the heads up. I might actually drop by Insight on the way home from work.

I'm starting to think that. It's really not much of an issue at my local ranges in San Diego.

Insight does not allow exposed lead either.

You'll probably have to get outside.

That's just dandy. I guess I'll be better off buying some FMJ and saving my rounds for another day.

                    Torrance sharpshooter range will allow.

It'd be a bit of a drive but Riverside indoor range will. I shot lead .38 special there.

I think Angeles would let your shoot that but its outdoors. Insight only allows fully jacketed rounds.

I'm not sure if they'll allow it, but angeles shooting range is pretty nice. The RSO's mind their own business, but still maintain a safe environment. They even looked the other way when I was picking up my brass.
