    Big 5 sunnyvale ammo sales

The last time I went in there, I asked the guy behind the counter for 4 boxes of .223 ammo they had, I had forgotten about the ammo registering in sunnyvale, he placed in on the counter and then brought up the fact I needed to have my address taken, I told him no thanks and walked out. So I was wondering does anyone know if their ammo sales has taken a dive?

I wonder if yes then maybe they would be more inclined to help fight this law?

What a bunch of croc. I used to love Sunnyvale but now I glad I moved away.
Some say that he once mooned two prostitutes just for a round of drinks, but wasn't surprised by the reply......They call him, the Hutch
Some say that he rode a dirtbike 7k miles across the country and that he once applied Bengay to his own testicles for a mere $50............They call him, the Hutch -Top Gear

What makes you think they didn't try to fight it before it became law?

I remember growing up in Sunnyvale cruising around with my Benjamin and Stingray bike. I would buy pellets at that Big 5 and hit the cherry orchards.

What a foreign place it is now.

Walking out was the right thing to do.

The Big 5 up here in Kings County didn't ask for anything when I bought some 22lrs. Their stock is also pretty good, I only bought a box of Winchester 555 for that day but they had like at least 4-5 on the shelf.

It is also the case in Los Angeles along with fingerprint. It is something they are trying hard to institute statewide.

I was at the Sunnyvale Big5 last night, and discovered the same thing while trying to buy some .22LR
The guy asked for drivers license, signature, and thumb print.
He agreed it was a complete waste of time.

It was news to me, but apparently, it has been that way for at least 3 years:

Guess I won't be going back to Sunnyvale for ammo purchases.
Their prices weren't all that great anyways.

It is a city to city type of ordinance.

I stopped by there a year or so ago, picked out about 150 bucks worth of ammo...then came all the strings. I asked for the manager...he verified that it was a Sunnyvale rule. Told him no thanks and that he should mention to his firm that they lost all my business...and to let Sunnyvale know they loose my tax dollars too. He shrugged his shoulders...guess they don't care.

Political correctness vs tax revenue...er...I mean taxes....they choose what feels good.
Wilson Protector .45, Springer 9mm Loaded, Franchi Instinct SL .12ga. and some other cool stuff for the kiddos...
