    Gun cleaning

Anyone cleaning their gun before going to the range for a session.? The few times I've been out to shoot I have cleaned the gun up and lubed then went out for my session.. came home and cleaned again.. a little OCD-ish.

    I know someone relates.

If the gun hasn't been shot in a long time, I will give it a quick once-over and make sure its properly lubed. But other than my regulars, they all go away squeaky clean

Not anymore. Instead, I wait after a minimum of 500 rounds shot then I clean the gun.

            I only clean when needed.
