All the rifles make a weird "Chck" noise when they raise them to the ready. Almost like a charging handle racking.

How about the "click, click, click" when the trigger is squeezed on an empty auto-loading rifle?

My biggest pet peeve though is when the hero is in a gun battle armed with a handgun, kills all the bad guys that were armed with full auto rifles and or sub guns and then walks right past without even thinking about picking one up.

My favorites:

Magical hollywood magazines (seriously why can't I get one of those?!)

Cocking the hammer of their pistols. Worse when on a double action or after they have already been shooting.

They never carry the weapons safely when not firing. Or when firing, really, but especially when not.

EXTREME RAPID FIRE while maintaining a stable and accurate point of impact, just annihilating multiple individuals.

The "walk around a corner and the baddies light said corner up but manage to shoot everything but you while you retreat back around corner" move.

The "baddies always miss except when you're getting away". Seriously. If you can afford henchmen you can afford to send them to training.

That 12 gauge that blows craters in everything. I love my shotguns but seriously guys, shells aren't the ballistic extract of Thor.

"My 92fs will outshoot your AR every day of the week and kill your friend just because it can!" Seriously why are rifles carried primarily by the bad guys or backup crew (military movies not withstanding).

I "shoulder" my weapon on my bicep because the camera loves my face. This one bugs me.

I've obviously never learned how to mount a shotgun pose. Those who carry it as a rifle.

Sometimes. I was watching Person of Interest last night and they stopped a guy shooting a P90 and when they left the girl says she took the ammo for extra. They weren't carrying FN57s either.

no but i count how many rounds they fire without reloading and then throw the remote when they shoot hundreds of rounds out of one mag

I just have to find one of those 15 shot revolvers....

I have such a long list of peeves with TV and movies.

But, I also can't help myself counting shots.

They could reload between scene cuts, that would explain 100 rounds without onscreen reloading. What gets me though is the aforementioned gratuitous cocking noises from rifles or striker pistols.
