Poly-Tech AK pistol grips, refinish or no?

[AK all day]

I have these Two Poly-Tech AK grips laying around, and was wondering if it would be a no no to refinish them? I was planning to use them on another rifle, but figured it was best I leave them be and ask around first to determine value or if anyone is looking for one in original condition.

I'm a purist by most standards, but these are just laying around and I could put them to use. Better off selling or using?

Thanks for the link. Jeeze these are more expensive than I thought... I'm sure a collector of Chinese arms would like them for $40 each at least, there are some condition issues.

I don't get it, what are you bumping for? I don't mean to sound crass, but use them if you need them or sell them if you don't. They are not rare by any means so sanding them or refinishing them won't hurt anyone.
