Please Help Me Identify This Tool/Gauge

Came across this tool/gauge this weekend. It looks so familiar but just cannot recall. It's made of solid polymer material. Anyone?.... Anyone?

    Thanks in advance.

Can I borrow it for my VW? Yeah, looks like the tool to center the clutch. Does it fit in a shotgun? You could always google the image.

That is a Clutch Alignment Tool for sure!

Or if you have an Automatic transmission then it could be a basement progressive training aid

Clutch alignment tool for sure never worked as good as a input shaft with the splines.

The one I used for vw's had splines on it, interesting how that one is smooth.

Less expensive without the splines; the one pictured will work just fine. I've centered clutch discs by feeling how evenly the disc was centered under the pressure plate.

Yep, done the same thing when we couldn't find the yellow plastic tool. Grew up with sand rails, baja bugs, and now a fiberglass buggy. Actually learned how to drive in a sandrail in Glamis, back when the whole place was open.
