What should I do?

Here is my situation, I recently came into some money and I don't know where I should spend it.

Should I.

1. Upgrade my WASR 10, with a VLTOR stock, Ultimak rails, and add an optic.

2. Get an M1A.

3. Get a 5.56 or .223 upper. So that I can shoot my AR cheaper. I can only shoot 300 Black at the moment. And as everyone knows that aint cheap.


I was also thinking about a scar 17 but that is a little over budget at $2,300.

So, what should I do cal gunners?

+1 on reloading equipment ............ you will save enough to buy at least 1 gun on your list and maybe 2 (that is if you shoot alot).

If there is a ammo shortage you will have to pay ALOT more for ammo (as much as a whole gun) or end up not having ammo but a cool high tech metal club.

I think if you use your wasr and want to shoot better with it, then go that route.

However, I think getting another upper is a better idea. Cheaper, no 10day wait, or dros fee and it will look like a new gun. If you don't have 5.56 or 223 already, maybe you may want an upper in 7.62x39, it would drink from the same pond as your wasr? 25 cents a round, Idk if 223 tula or wolf is the same price.

M1A is just over 50 cents a round to shoot, if you can afford that plus the gun cost then go for it.
Personally I like to shoot, so I would go for a cheaper option and buy more ammo, instead of spreading myself thin and getting into new calibers without securing a "good" amount of rounds before any ammo/gun scare happens.

And dropping $2300 on a gun that can do the same as a $1000 gun.....i dont see it happening........to me at least. But remember, I'm cheap.

I would probably pick up a 5.56 upper and lots of ammo. Oh, and magazines, too.

And then shoot the heck out of that "new" AR set up.

I vote for reloading gear. Over the long haul, you will shoot a whole ton more.

More shooting is very good in my book.
