M&P Shield... Finally know why all the hype

This gun feels amazing in your hands. I have held the Glock 26 and the Springfield XD compacts and they just don't feel as good. This gun is an excellent gun for the money. If you can get one, I'd recommend it.

I think I'm in the minority, I find the grip too thin and find myself continuealy adjusting my grip while firing. I do not have this problem with any of my other sub-compacts. Glock 27, Kimber CDP Ultra, Kahr PM-9 and the grip on my three full size M&Ps are fantastic. Besides that I really like the Shield but if I can't keep a solid grip on it, you'll see it in the handguns for sale section.

^ I had the same problem holding it firmly. Put the Hogue Handal Jr grip on it. Problem gone.

I am a huge M&P fan. However, I am still debating if I want one. Can't seem to justify it since I have other carry size handguns to chose from.

Shot one in Vegas at the range. It lives up to the hype.

It's alright. I need to adjust my shooting. I keep hitting left or low. If I really concentrate I can hit dead center once out of twenty shots.

Love mine, feels like it was was custom made for my hands. The single stack 9mm is super-duper.

Too much hype, Ruger SR9c for me.

I am a fan of the 9mm Shield. I shot a buddies and wished I would have put one on back order when I could have. Right now my local shop only has .40s in stock and I am going to have to wait until the waiting list customers get theirs first.
As much as I love my Glocks, one will come off the CCW to put the Shield on whenever modifications are allowed again in Sac county.
