I now go through a guy in Sacramento who charges $55 thanks to Cowtownballin. Prior to that I used to go through an actual dealer in Sac who charged $75. Sometimes the FFL fee can dictate if an out of state purchase is a steal or a rip off.

$45 total (25 DROS and 20 to the FFL). For more than one gun (in the case of long guns) he just adds 20 bucks per gun.

I just bought three recievers from DD's ranch and shipped to the Sportsman in downtown Sonora where you can buy a gun and ammo, have a beer, get a fishing or hunting license, buy some bait and watch the game all without leaving your stool. Even better, they only charged $20 over DROS for arms ordered from someone else and sent there. Oh, and that twenty bucks was for all three, not per firearm. They're good people and worth visiting if you're in town, even though they have a rather limited selection of everything.

I do my FFL Transfers at Cash Loan in SSF. $25 DROS+ $20 Dealer fees.

While we're on the subject, where's the cheapest place to do a transfer in the Fresno area? I work down in Selma, but am living in Clovis for the next 6 months.

$50 including DROS, he normally charges more, but I'm a good customer and I asked him what he could do for me on transfers.

Mine is in SD. He is more or less a "private" FFL, though. He works out of his garage and caters to members of a particular shooting range down here.

shouldn't that be $25 for DROS, $35 for dealer service fee?

You are probably correct but I will check my receipt to make sure.
