Any savage 10 owners?

Just purchased my first "sniper rifle" and don't know much about it. I'm already having an Issue with it. I took out the bolt and now some reason it will not go back in place. Has it happened to anyone? Am I doing something wrong?

I think you have to pull the trigger and the bolt release to get the bolt back in.

Yes, try squeezing the trigger and press the bolt release down at the same time then slide the bolt in. If it doesn't work try moving the safety to the "fire" position.

I tried the trigger and bolt release button. Didn't work. The safety switch won't move either

Looks like that should fix your problem hopefully. Might have just accidentally moved that knob on the bolt making it not want to go back in.

Looks like that should fix your problem hopefully. Might have just accidentally moved that knob on the bolt making it not want to go back in.

Yup. That's exactly what It was. It was that stupid knob. Wasn't fun to put back in either
