I went shooting twice within a week with two aks, shot both wpa and gt, first of the two trip was on a Monday and second following Saturday, shot about 100+ rds each rifle every trip so 200+ Count for each gun. I didn't cleaned em after the first trip so decided to clean em after second trip, I saw slight rust inside the gas tube and in the gas chamber on both guns. Supposedly both brand of ammo are NON-CORROSIVE. Anyone experience this before?

Wolf and golden tiger corrosive?

Nope no issue from my ak with wolf. Haven't used golden tiger though. Rust might be from the coating that has rubbed off and it started rusting.I don't remember the time I was human that's why I don't understand anybody. There's danger lurking around every corner, that's why I propose we make all of our buildings round. The sound of a cat puking is the most effective alarm clock. -
How do you store your guns? If in a case with the foam, it could have been from moisture the foam absorbs. It has been humid lately. I used to get that all the time until I started using a desiccant. I shot my mosin today, rinsed the inards with water, cleaned as normal and oiled before the safe got it back.I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.Comment

I store my babies in the safe upstairs, the foam thing makes sense cuz my cases are kept in the garage. How do you store your guns? WOLF ammo I've only shot out of my ppistols and not any rifles. If it says non-corrosive on the box then I'll shoot it. I admit though I've never used the other (Tiger stuff) in any form.
Now that I finally have some Wolf to try in my AK the range won't allow steel what so ever so I'm forced to use another brand in brass cased form.
My suggestion is to clean it right away as soon as you get home. At least coat it with some Breakfree to give you some extra time. Rust doesn't start until air contacts the corrosive salt if any in those brands.

Thanks I'll try that break free stuff. Is it almost like rem oil spray? Leaves a dry film?WAZNUT,
