    North American Arms is Awesome!

Wow, I am blown away by what North American Arms just did for me!

Background: I bought one of their mini revolvers (actually my third one) in .22 Mag just cause I like small guns and stuff like that. I lost the cylinder and center pin out in the desert one day when a sudden big gust of wind picked up and flipped over our shooting table, sending gun stuff flying everywhere.

I was so bummed that the cyinder and pin could not be found. I put the gun away for a while but finally decided to send it back into get a new cylinder for it (the cylinder has to be fitted by NAA so you can't just buy the parts). I sent the revolver back to NAA last Thursday. This afternoon I got it back from them! That's about three days total time, not counting the weekend.
The new cylinder is tightly fitted and the action is crisp. There was a very nice business card with the gun from the gunsmith that did the repair. The 'smith also replaced the hammer, hand and main spring for me, even though the gun was near new. I grimaced as I looked for the invoice amount...how much is all this gonna cost me?

NO CHARGE!!!!! What? Huh? Really? My fault 100% and NO CHARGE?
Wow! Wow! Wow! Awesome! Awesome! Awesome! Happy! Happy! Happy!
This is incredible customer service. Far beyond anything expected.
OK, so now I am the NAA mini revolver guy here.
North American Arms...buy them with confidence!!!

Thanks for reminding me to send mine out to get a spare cylinder. I like my mini revolver, especially now that I can actually hit something smaller than a barn with it.

Sounds like great custom service. I really want one of their Guardian models.

It is nice to hear of companies with outstanding customer service. I for one take note when I hear stories such as this. I can honestly say that it helps me select my new firearms.

As a tip (from a guy it happened to...)
If you carry one of these little revolvers in your pocket a lot be careful to check the side plate retaining screw for tightness when you clean it. I didn't notice that mine (22mag) was a little loose and I carried it one of their fold out holsters. One day I pulled it out to shoot it at the range and the cylinder didn't lock up right when I cocked the hammer. The screw had backed out and the internals were stripped out from when I tried to cock the hammer. I had to send it back for repair. Great customer service though and I had no real complaints other than my own operator error.
