You miss my point Bobby, if we keep buying over priced ammo, it won't be on the shelves at retailers. Currently 22lr & 9mm, flying off the shelves. Now you see it, now you don't. I've seen a post of yours, for a mosin 91/30, have you sold it? Pm me, might be interested if you still have it in a month. Waiting on tax return

It's only over priced if you buy it right?......Don't buy it.

I agree and while we're at it, how come I can't find a house for $100,000 here in San Diego? All you evil real estate hoarders/flippers are keeping me from my dream home. Fellow Californians, don't buy any homes because some of these people originally bought them cheap and now they want to (gasp) make a profit! I just don't understand why they can't lose money to help me! Someone please call the waaambulance!

I've bought ammo from a calgunner. I thought the price was fair.

I've been to Walmart as well and looked at the prices. Honestly, when I look at what ammo goes for on here and what Walmart sells it for, I wouldn't bother selling ammo on here. Even for a $20 markup, do you realize how little you're making once you make the effort to drive around scrounging for ammo, list it here, and having to meet someone to sell it? Unless I'm selling it in volume, it's not worth the time.

While there may be ammo flippers on here, I think that's probably more the exception than the rule. I'd bet that most sellers are liquidating some of their old stash for cash. If I had stocked up on 22 LR at $20 a brick back then and could sell it for $80 now, then it's worth my while to sell a brick or two on here. If someone buys, I make a profit. If nobody buys, I still have my ammo. But running around wasting gas to go to every Walmart to pick up their 3 box maximum and having to deal with these sort of $h!t-@ss threads on here? No thanks.

Over priced? I had 558 rds of 22lr listed for $35 for 2 weeks.Ended up selling for $30. Right now I have 86 rds of 38 special for sale for $30. 3 days later I have a buyer. Took a week to sell 50 rds of tula 9mm for $10.

There is another issue. That issue is, "Hey, Calgunners, do your part and don't buy at these inflated prices! It only encourages the flippers to try to charge more."

To all the people that don't like this thread. Maybe we can help to create a better sense of community by working together, not against each other. We seem to do great in the face of the anti's, why not use those extra dollars for things that really matter?
