We've seen Holder suggest that the DOJ (ATF) is in favor of moving to requiring guns that can only be fired by the owner. Is this a safety move or is there another reason?
1. Guns that have electronic RF interlocks that will disable them could potentially be disabled by a third party. With a jammer or with backdoor electronic circuitry.
2. Gun with this technology may include an RFID device with a serial number. This could be accessed by devices that scan crowds and potentially match them to backend data bases.
These are hypothetical, but likely trends given our ever more intrusive Government and their penchant for increasing surveillance and control.
So do you favor the safety interlocks suggested by Eric Holder?
