    DOJ Report?

Viewing on mobile, and although I have seen this answered previously, I cannot find it now, so I figured I'll ask the masses...

Is there a way to request your DOJ report, to find out if there are any items that would disqualify you from firearm ownership/CCW before actually applying?

I have purchased firearms over the past two years with no issue, but it's my understanding that the prohibited persons have recently been "massaged" and I'm wondering if an arrest and misdemeanor conviction from 13 years ago is going to screw me in the future.

I don't recall the exact wording of my conviction charges (I was deployed during most of the court proceedings) so I can't just bump it against the penal codes...

Thanks in advance for any insight, and once again, I apologize if this answer is already pinned somewhere.

Thanks for that! I knew I had seen it somewhere before, but just couldn't remember where.

One question though... while this report shows eligibility or ineligibility, is there a way to see what exactly is on your record? I'm addition to eligibility, I'm curious, for future use, what exactly was put into my record.

      Thanks again!
