    Online Gun Ordering Question?

Hey guys, I was about to purchase my first gun online--a SKS by way of Classic Firearms. I'm hoping to have it sent to a local gunstore so they can do the transfer once it gets in.

I have a bit of a question regarding the order. For the shipping address--and by extension, shipping label--, I just use my name, right? Do I need to add a ", care of" or anything like that after my name so it's made clear that the store is the one receiving the firearm? If I do add the ", care of" bit, I'd have to add the little snippet right after my last name, and I'm not sure if that'd screw with the order and/or delivery of said order.

Basically, what I'm asking is if I have to make the shipping address look like:

    [insert name here], care of
    [address]

Or if it should look something like

    [insert name here]
    [address]

Just put your address... Classic city will not ship it To you, they need to have the gun store's FFL before they will even ship it.

Also they will ship to the address on the FFL .... Don't worry most Online FFL's know this process and know they can't ship to the buyers address.

They will be shipping it to your FFL, provided it's legal, paid for etc. Both your FFL & the Vendor will likely want your address. I got my first online purchase recently & I did well. Good luck with all!
Yes I took the pic, no I didn't go swimming!

Generally, an out of state dealer will want a copy of your dealer's FFL and CA registry numbers. Your local dealer will already be aware that the transaction is taking place, and the dealer you paid will already have your paperwork and name attached to the firearm.

Firearm arrives, your local dealer notifies you, it goes to jail for 10 days. Its pretty straightforward.

Contact your FFL and give them your name, phone number and gun item number along with the seller's name and phone number or email so they can email their FFL info to the seller to receive your gun to transfer to you.
