Glock 19 or 27, which would you CCW in a free state ?

I like the Glock 26, I shot my friends 27 and I am glad I did before buying one.

Too snappy to be fun to shoot or for SD IMO, but thats just me.

I would take the 19 over the 27, but they are not the same size gun.

On my 26 I sometimes use glock 19 mags with the X grip mag sleeves, makes the grip exactly like the 19 grip, but you still have a shorter barrel.

In a free state I would carry a 26 with glock 19 mags and keep a couple 33 rounders nearby.

With that said, if it had to be the 27, I'd carry the 27. The 19 may be billed as a "sub compact" but it's still a bit large to carry all day.

like the title says, if you had to pick between the Glock 19 and 27, which would you conceal carry in a free state with no capacity restrictions, but keeping in mind concealability ?

G23. Same size as 19, lose two rounds to get the .40 caliber of the 27 Problem solved!

I think the 27 is quite controllable once you get used to it. Adding grip tape for your support hands thumb helps you keep a good grip on the gun.

i carry a g19 gen4 with 15 round mags in CA. Its not illegal to use your preban magazines in your carry gun. I also had a p95 ruger that was bought before mag bans. It also has 15 round mags/30+ rounds mags that is completely legal to carry

Those two guns your mentioned are much different in size and does not do a one size fits all. Only similarity are they are both the same thickness.

I personal default to my lc9..its about half the thickness, and much easier to carry easily while staying concealed.

g19 is more of a winter weather/car/bag psiotl for me. In 5'11 180lbs

I'd carry a G-19 in ANY state, whether "Free" or not. Far better than the G-27.

I have a G26 as my daily CCW, and I'm looking at going to G19.

I went from a G26 with G19 mags to a P938 to a LCP and every once in a while I carry an NAA .22lr.
I carry the NAA only because a friend that is 6'2" and 300lbs. open carries a full size 1911 so I stick the .22 in my belt to get laughs.
