    Never understand

    I will never understand how members expect to sell anything with an add like this.

      Why? Price too high or something?

      Sounds fine to me. He probably won't sell it quickly but he won't have to deal with bs when he does get an offer.

                  so whats the issue? price? being stern about no shipping or trades?

                  i think id rather deal with that guy , then someone who posts threads with copy/pastes of another members sale ad just to talk trash about some vague issue he has with said ad

                                  Not familiar with the rifle, so don't know if over priced or not. But it looks like a pretty good add to me.

                                      It seems pricey, I'll say that much. Depending on the model of the rifle 4-500$ The scope is discontinued but wasn't, or isn't much 120? The case, caps, & sling maybe 80 new. A lot of people operate on the "there's a sucker born every minute" principle.

                                                  A lot of the offers in the marketplace are priced way too high for being used, or for what they are. People charge what you could get the gun for brand new or sometimes close to MSRP......

                                                  Doesn't help this guy that he wouldn't ship or accept trades either.

                                                      The ad is clear cut and simple but it's priced high.

                                                      As a CZ rimfire owner, he's asking MSRP on a used gun. You're looking less than $500 OTD for the rifle itself. I topped mine with a similar scope and was at $600.

                                                      He can do what he wants but everyone here knows that if you want a quick sale, you've got to price it right.
