    Guns that explode

In your hand. Graphic Images. After every failure to fire check the barrel for a squib round. It's just that simple.

This almost happened to me with my S&W m29 .44 mag. Had a hand load round go poof, pulled the hammer back, thought for a second about what just happened, de cocked and sure enough there was the bullet lodged 1/2 way down the barrel.

Wow, I had the same thing happen to me 20+ years ago with my S&W M29 while shooting a Chabot but I was shooting factory ammo. I used a wooden dowel I had in my range bag to knock the bullet out.

Pull the seal off and screw the lid back on.
