My FFL thinks that a SKS is a Vepr...........

I just called my FFL and the VEPR 12 that I ordered from Atlantic Firearms supposedly has a crack on the stock.

I can't believe it. They said it might be on the pistol grip so that also tells me whoever was looking at it doesn't really know what they're looking at. Then again they're a pawn shop... and a very cool one I must say.

They told me to look at it so i'm going to go down there right now and check it out. I just can't believe it. lol

If it is cracked, what do you guys suggest I do when I take it up with Atlantic Firearms?

    Thanks a lot

Atlantic is a member here. They will take care of you. Just call them and talk to them instead of stressing out about it. Of course, look at it first. Even take a few pictures of it if you can.

That's interesting, there was another vendor, CDNN I think and every VEPR they advertised for a while was listed with "unfinished, cracked stocks" at a lower price.

Atlantic has been nothing but professional and great with me. They will take care of you.

Take some pictures but DO NOT DROS THE SHOTGUN until you and Atlantic work out how to handle the issue. When you DROS that means you are OK with the firearm you are looking at.

If you have an issue WHY would you post on a forum asking for advice why not contact us directly ?????? Seems a bit odd ...Second we do not currently offer a Vepr 12 Shotgun with a wood stock so I am not sure about the cracked stock since we have only been shipping the metal folder models ??? IF You truly have an issue please SIMPLY send us a email and we will be glad to assist .

I actually called and the line was busy.

Anyways, FALSE ALARM! heh heh heh

I just checked it out and the VEPR 12 was in excellent brand new shape.

It was the Chinese SKS that I ordered with the VEPR12 that had a crack in the stock which I could really care less about.

Almost had a heart attack today lmao

Not a problem , we are way to busy to continually answer the phone lines ring off the hook 24/7 . The best way is to email us we prioritize shipping and ship a few hundred orders a day if we are all on the phone no packages can go out. You can rest assured that if you do have a problem and leave a message or email we will be back in touch and get you taken care of !!
