I am looking for a gun friendly machine shop in sacramento that can go over my drawings with me and look at my parts ive made, make or scan them using 3d scanning, make me a blueprint or cad drawing and then turn me some parts so I can patent them. I have a source for metal but i need someone that wioll do the work at a very reasonable rate. I have a 30 dollar an hour quote and would like to keep it around there. Maybe the guy can take it on as a side job for 20-25 an hour?

You might want to buget a little more money. $30/hr for what you want is kind of low, but hey times are tough. Just make sure you and the shop get an itemized breakdown of the work to be performed and a time schedule for delivery. And get it all in writing!
