How do I post a pic on a thread to where you dont have to click on it? Wanna be-able yo see it when u go into thread?

It applies to how the internet and vBulletin works?
You have to upload it somewhere... and you have to use vB code to get it to display..



Step 1: Upload it somewhere. tinypic.com is fast and easy no account needed

Step 2: Click the icon that looks like this in the top of the post box

Step 3: Paste the link in the box that pops up

Alternate Step 2&3: Or enter the link that looks like this that tinypic gives you (minus the spaces) [ IMG]http://www. whatever.com/photo.jpg[ /IMG] in the post box manually.

I have tried posting once using that form of string but a Dropbox link and it didn't work, is using Dropbox a no-go?

I use photobucket. basic service is free. instead of resizing pictures, change the settings in the camera to less pixels first.

You can reduce the size if the image is to big for cal guns

The steps below enabled me to show the pics on the actual post:

Click on "Go Advanced" button next to "Post Quick Reply"

Click on the Paper Clip icon, a new window will open

Click on "Choose File" button to choose the picture you want to upload

Click on "Upload" button (You can upload up to 5 pics)

Click on "Close this window" on the upper right-hand corner when done

Click again on the Paper Clip icon - you can insert one pic at a time by selecting the file name or all at once by clicking on "Insert All"

Click on "Preview Post" button to see if you like your post

BTW, please make sure that your pics are not too large or too small for ease of browsing (if you are using Microsoft Office Picture Manager, re-size your pic by choosing "Web - Large (640 x 480 px)" on the "Pre-defined width x height" drop-down menu
