Looks like the people are fed up with corruption run out of control. Powermongers and their footsoilders be warned. Few citizens feel the police can be trusted period yet alone trusted to enforce proper decency and morality in their duties. They will get what is coming to them should a civil war begin.

Wow seven times and no vest? I though it was a departmental thing that all officers wear armor? Glad he'll be ok but ouch!

They are not sure exactly how many times the officer was shot. It was multiple times.

In past disasters (Katrina) the police chose to disarm legal gun owners and shoot unarmed citizens. Do you think many will consider the Police as friends should disaster hit California? Or will they be the worst and tangible enemy of freedom and be shot on sight?

My guess is the injured officer had nothing to do with the shooter's complaint, but he paid the price. I hope the officer fully recovers. When I read the article, there were 29 comments and more will be posted. Many of the comments show a lack of care and respect towards the police and in support of their comments they cite examples of police abuse. Some of these same concern have been discussed on this site. I expect more of this.

                      Personal fantasy?
Freedom consists not in doing what we like, but in having the right to do what we ought.

How to stop a bad guy with a gun...
