Outer's 51piece screwdriver kit flat tips don't seem "gunsmith" style.

I heard gunsmith screwdriver tips are supposed to be 90 deg at the tip so they don't want to back out and wont mar special gun screws that are also 90'.

These are all concave with the biggest fattest being quite beveled to the very end and the smaller ones being more like 90' at tip.

Is that what they are supposed to be, or is this just what I get for buying a cheap Chinese set from Walmart?

Sounds right. You want "hollow ground" screwdriver bits rather than tapered. This shows the difference. (hollow ground on the right)

The other nice things about buying from Brownells...they still give a nice discount for 03FFL's (that ^ Master set is $110 with an 03, $129 without), and they have an unconditional lifetime warranty/return policy on everything they sell.

You will never, in your life, have a chance like this again.
If I were you, I would not pass this up. I would not let this go by...this is rare.

My Brownells Master screwdriver kit is one of the most important pieces of kit I own to maintain firearms---must have bought it 15-20 years ago...

they are "hollow ground" but not 'hollow enough' on the fat tips so they are still beveled at tip.

are the Brownell's fat tips actually fully 'straight' at the end, because it looks like they are same as mine, and I figure Wally ChiComs just cloned with cheaper metal.

Brownells are fully "parallel" at the tip.

You get exactly what you spend with tools...Brownells are not cheap but last a long time. If one breaks, you get another free.

Go back and read what joefrank64k posted...no downside.
