    Legal Insurance?

I seem to recall a form of insurance offered by Amex in the past that would cover legal costs, costs for an attorney, in the event that you unexpectedly needed it.

As a firearms owner in California, this seems like it would be a prudent coverage to have.

Does anyone know if there is any such type of insurance?

I've seen ads in American Rifleman for Second Call Defense and USCCA. They both have multiple plans with varied levels of protection.

I have never heard of one of these plans being legit. At best it's second rate legal help and the plans exclude way more than they include.

I would love to hear from one of the real legal eagles here though.
