Felon shoots girlfriend while horsing around

A man was arrested Monday for being a felon in possession of a firearm and for being in violation of his probation after allegedly accidentally shooting his girlfriend in her living room in East Palo Alto on Sunday night.

Glad to see the DOJ is doing it's job
Some say that he once mooned two prostitutes just for a round of drinks, but wasn't surprised by the reply......They call him, the Hutch
Some say that he rode a dirtbike 7k miles across the country and that he once applied Bengay to his own testicles for a mere $50............They call him, the Hutch -Top Gear

that's gotta be a complete lie. we have a whole bunch of gun laws that prevent bad people from having guns. Right? Right? Anyone?

If only there was a law that would make it illegal to be a felon in possession, this woman wouldn't have been shot.

Now, we need to take guns from law abiding in different time zone to prevent this from happening again.

Or maybe they got them where other Responsible Gun Owners™ get their guns.

You know, Responsible Gun Owners™, the type that try to sneak dozens of guns onto airplanes EVERY WEEK in their carry ons, only to be confiscated by the TSA.

A record week last year: "Airport security officers uncovered a record 65 firearms on passengers boarding planes last week, surpassing the previous record high of 50 guns.

The Transportation Security Administration reported 54 of the guns found at airport security checkpoints around the country were loaded and another 19 had rounds chambered."

Last week? "Of the 48 firearms, 39 were loaded and 16 had rounds chambered."

Here's the chart for last week - hey look! a chambered .38 at SFO! Four days ago!

So damn RESPONSIBLE, those Responsible Gun Owners™!!

Was there an update to this case? It appears to be from October of 2011...

ETA: Okay . . . depending on how many Lamont Coleman's claim residency in East Palo Alto and were around age 20 in October of 2011, he appears to have been killed in gang violence.

Over the next week, 21-year-old Christopher Baker was fatally shot Oct. 5 in the 2200 block of Terra Villa Street in East Palo Alto, followed by 27-year-old Stoney Gipson Oct. 7 at Mission and Third streets in San Francisco.

Two months later, the feud kicked off another string of crimes, including the murders of Jonathan Alcazar and Lamont Coleman on Jan. 14 and Jan. 26, 2013, in East Palo Alto. Two days after Alcazar's killing, three of the defendants attempted to rob Plaza Jewelers in unincorporated Redwood City, but they fled when the owner pulled out a handgun, prosecutors said.

Anyone notice the journalist correctly used the phrase "negligently discharged"?
