    C&R SBR M4 survival rifle

I know there are some collectors of C&R SBRs out there, here's one that popped up for sale.
M4 survival rifle, bolt action 22 SBR
NFA items such as machine guns, suppressors, short barreled rifles, AOWs, Destructive Devices, etc. - All NFA rules apply.

It's on a form 3 in VA. If there's a cali dealer who eforms, you can get this in time before the end of the year before any potential stops on SSE. Its bolt action so all they have to do is shove a piece of plastic into the magwell during DROS.
    For Sale!!

That's the problem with C&R papered SBS and SBRs, they all seem to be massively overpriced. This may be great for a collector of the unusual but for the average Calgunner, not a good value.

        Surplus M4 survival rifle: $3000

Having a short barreled rifle shipped right to your door in California: priceless.

Must be a collector thing. Much like everyone else that posted, I could think of a lot of other things to buy.

At 3k you'd be better off getting a tax stamp and sbr it yourself.

But ATF now says buying a Title I C&R rifle and then SBRing it removes the C&R status of the rifle. Californians are limited to buying SBRs that are still C&R.

Mehhhhhhhh. Just use a regular 10/22 and spend the rest on a 6.5 creedmoor semi auto!

It is definitely out of my pocket book, but absolutely beautiful specimen. It is nice to see weapons like that still in very collectable condition. Yes you could get a 10/22 for less, if that's what your going for. Collecting is very expense, but most people who can collect rifles such as these, will buy it for sure.

Haha like I said. Its for the stamp collectors out there. I love stamps and my collection is growing.
I'll tell you this, its a rare specimen in the US, let alone in California and some people just like to collect ANY NFA item in California. I've never seen one of these pop up for sale. No different than someone collecting old 1911s and paying 5K plus. You could spend 3k on a nice modernized wilson combat but there's something about these old collectibles, and it has the added bonus of being a SBR.
                      Just trying to help out.

It's a bolt action. Wouldn't that make it a single shot by default.

The M4 Survival Rifle was a .22 calibre bolt-action rifle developed during World War II as part of the survival gear stored under the seat of American military aircraft. It was designed to give downed aircrew a survival weapon for foraging wild game for food.
