I was shocked and disappointed when I came across this one.

It might scare off a burglar but you'd be SOL for a home invasion. Unless its modified to 900 fps and you hit him in the softies.

Airsoft guns are one way to protect the home from intruders. They are BB guns but look and feel like a real weapon. If a burglar caught a glimpse of a homeowner holding one of these, more than likely they will leave immediately, but sometimes the intruder sees the real looking gun and pulls out a REAL gun... then the homeowner is F**KED!! Thanks a lot 101HomeSecurity.com. However, if the individual would like to gift-wrap the robber and give him to the police, a pair of handcuffs is likely to come in handy.

Yes this is the preferred personel defense weapon for shooting members of your family so they remain members of your family without you getting the needle for being brash and stupid in mind.....

For those inclinded to shoot the members of their own family I recommend airsoft.


For everyone else that has more self control get a real firearm that goes.....

wow, thats just bad all around bad idea. since airsoft has gone mainstream im actually concerned that home invaders wouldn't take my real gun pointed at them very seriously especially from me, considering people think i look 16.

At about 1200 feet per second or so, we'd call it #4 Buckshot from a 12 gauge.

If I can't get a gun, give me a bladed weapon over a "scary" toy any day of the week. I'm thinking a meat cleaver.

I've thought about this too, since an AK pistol is probably the last thing a burglar or home invader would expect to see. Ah well.

I have a friend who was actually seriously trying to convince me that is a viable home defense choice. He mentioned that he would be shooting a home invader in the face to disable and then attack him. In a real situation, Im not sure if he's really batman enough to be able to pull something like that off.
What's even stranger is that this guy just recently moved here from nevada. He only owns airsoft.
