Thinking of going tomorrow. Hope someone went today too. Last one I went to was marginally useful.

I vowed never to go again after the last time. In fact, the last 3 I've been to were a waste of money for the entrance fee. I'm sure gun shows in others states are useful. Here they are pathetic.

Holy cow it was packed! I got there by 9:00 am and was surprised at the turnout... by 10:30 it was getting difficult to walk down some aisles due to all the foot-traffic. And the merchandise is there! Huge palates of ammo, towering stacks of magazines, you name it, you can find it there.

I finally bit the bullet on a purchase I have been putting off for far too long. We had a recent "bump in the night" situation though that really brought it back to my attention. A full set of rifle-plates and carrier, only $300 for the full set. Won't do me a lot of good to put down the home invader(s) if one of them gets off a lucky upper torso shot. At less than the cost of another new gun, it was cheap insurance. See Trevor Pearson at TAC (Tactically Armed Citizen), his booth is on the west (far right as you enter) side of the floor. Price I quoted was for the level III full plate set (front, back, and sides) plus the carrier-vest.

Also picked up a lighting set for my reloading press. Seeing due to light and close quarters has always been a challenge to me due to the location of my bench. Seeing the lighting setup in person, I was sold. They also have led lighting for safe interiors. Vendor for these is Lite Tech and they are on an end-cap toward the center of the floor. The wife and I went today. It's about the same as the last time we went. However we picked up some .38 ammo, a mag, a Baby UpULUA and a couple of Bore Stores for the wife. Ammo Bros were there and they had a Dan Wesson 1911 and a Les Baer 1911. I fondled the DW. A 1911 is going to be one of my next guns.

The line at Miwall was long as usual.

There were plenty of bricks of .22lr there. One booth had a sign "No Limit", for $80/brick.

I was disappointed that I didn't see any Yee Tee Shirts.

All-in-all it was worthwhile for us.

I just returned from CalExpo. $10 parking and $13 (with coupon) entrance fee. Seemed like the same old show. The only differences I saw was ammo prices down slightly (except 22LR), but more abundant, primers $30/1K, a vendor selling Dillion reloading equipment, and hard to believe, but more AR stuff. Powder is still scarce, but a few suppliers said they had my powder (Unique) earlier and sold out fast. I was glad to see so many people and vendors there.
I bought the reloading press light and the safe light system. You can't beat the price. I installed them and they work great!

Went to gun show today, about the same except I thought a little more powder than before. Mostly rifle powder, but did see some Unique and Win 296.

I saw plenty of the usual there. Primers were plentiful and powder was available at reasonable prices. I found a great price on .17HMR. As for the Hoarders asking $80/brick for .22, I hope they have to eat them and choke on them. I will shoot squirrels with a .308 before I pay that price.

Unless you plan on wearing that 24/7 it likely will be of no use in a home invasion. I'm curious how much just the plates are though, been looking for a set. How much reloading supplies/components did you see? I'm planing on going in the morning but don't want to waste my time if I cannot get what I need.

Did they sell out or will there be plenty in the morning? Couldn't make it today due to my son being sick.

No ak bending jig that i saw. Not much ak stuff in general. Gun shows seem to be a real cheap ar build heaven lately.

Milwal was packed! Someone told me it was about an hour wait in line but i couldnt tell. I wasant gonna stand in it.

I went and wish I didn't. You can't call something a gun show if there are no guns! Vallejo should should be better next week.
