Do you think a .22LR would go right through a body?

My mate says due to the high velocity, it would go right through a shoulder, leg, etc. As long as it didnt hit a bone.

In my opinion- any bullet can do or not do something depending on so man factors- distance, velocity, part of the body, body fat, clothing, bullet weight, etc.

I'm no expert, but anything is possible.

Survey says: "Yes". I had a pellet gun pellet in .22 caliber go right through my upper arm.

Depends on where it hits and the person, but yes it is possable.

            Very possible

Even highly likely depending on where it hits. Hollow points have less ability for penetration compared to solids.

From a rifle at a close distance, I think so.

I can tell you by experience a 22 will go through soft flesh,
if it strikes bone typically it will not

Curious on what 22 long rifle rounds do to flesh and bone?

Check out this thread I posted almost a year ago...
