    BulkAmmo and LAX Ammunition

    Has anyone bought from them recently? Are they as good as Sgammo?

    I posted a poll.

    I haven't had issues with ordering from either of them before. However when I order from LAX it's usually only for deals on WWB and not their reloads or their factory ammo.

        If you gave me LAX ammo for free the only thing I would do is break it down for components. Seen improper sizing, bullet seating, varying charges, all in the same batch of some LAX .45 ACP ammo my buddy had.

          Had 1 issue with almost 250 rounds from LAX (bought a 500 round NEW ammo box) - used them at Front Sight - .45ACP good price, good shipping.

          Mostly re-manufactured from Bulk, and not the best stuff, but ok

              I haven't ordered from either of them. Usually get my ammo from SGammo or PSA.

                I've had zero issues between 2 Glocks and a XD9 using LAX 9mm reloads.

                    bulk ammo: cool and ships wherever.

                    LAX: their reloads were good, i got bought some from a show. but I found out they wont ship to my location, so i probably wont buy from them again

                      I bought 250 round of "new" 44mag (ammo box) from them last summer along with 200 rounds of 357 reloads. The 44's are pretty bad, I had more then 1 stovepipe. The .357 reloads were better.

                      Both are really weak loads. These were only used in lever guns. I'd buy the reloads again but not the new stuff.

                        Bought 500 rounds of their 9mm reloads about two or so years ago and they ran just fine. cant add anything to their current ammo offerings

                          Wow, this is kinda worrying me a bit now. I just ordered a box of 500 rounds of LAX .40S&W and I'm kinda worried about getting a stovepipe, especially as I use these rounds to take coworkers shooting that have near zero experience with guns.

                            As far as the .44 Magnum reloads go, they don't recommend using them in semi-automatics.

                            They have a disclaimer on their listing to that effect;

                            Please note: We cannot guarantee the reliability of these rounds in a semi auto desert eagle The nature of this firearm is ammo sensitive and changes in our powders can make a difference in cycling.
                            And a similar disclaimer on their .44 Magnum reloads;

                            Please note: these rounds are not recommended for desert eagles or carbine rifles due to changes in powder loads based upon availability and the fickleness of those firearms. Recommended for revolvers!

                              I've bought bulk 556 from bulkammo. They charged me a price I was willing to pay and when a shipment went missing, they refunded my purchase when they couldn't commit to getting me a new batch in a reasonable amount of time. Never had any issue shooting the stuff either, but looking at their prices right now, I can get better deals elsewhere so I do.
