just got out of surgery earlier this week

Hey everyone I had a surgery to fix one of my eyes (not LASIK something a lot more serious just don't want to post it up) doc said it went well now I'm just healing and am in the recovery process I live in the south bay area and I came up with this idea with my room mate that once everything is working again we should have a range day and just dump a lot if bullets with the whole arsenal

    Couple things

    1. obviously we would want a good amount of ammo in various calibers

    2. When it happens if anyone would like to join me celebrate more than welcome

if interested shoot me a PM

Also if anyone has connections or reloads ammo I would be willing to pay as well just pm as this probably isn't the best place for this

Figured the recovery of eye is something shooters would appreciate

So let's go recovery and when I'm fully healed let's go dump some rounds

I'm glad everything is going good. Things like this makes you realize how we take sight for granted. Wear safety glasses, lol.

Too far north for me, but I was interested in your post because I'm suffering from some condition with my eyes, too. I had surgery last month (like you, more involved than mere lasik), but it didn't work. Doctors thought they had me diagnosed, but they had it wrong - whatever I have is uncommon, and as I sit here now it is still unknown.

I've actually been afflicted with this condition since November, and like you, I've been itching to get back out. So even though I couldn't see worth a damn, I was able to find someone to drive me out to Raahague's for a small Calguns meet-up and had an ammo dump of my own. It was great!

Believe me, I don't take eyesight for granted. Never did - I've had bad eyes my whole life (although I'm only 32) but until now it was always correctable with lenses. I am very glad to hear that you are recovering well.

        Cataract removal and new lens??

If so, I had a cataract caused by trauma to the eye removed a year ago.

Went from 20/400 in the bad eye to 20/25, more or less overnight. Did my yearly exam last week. No changes. Nice to be able to drive without glasses.

Recovery involved a very long nap due to some very nice iv fun. Zero pain.

        Hope you're doing well.

Eye problems suck, Congrats on the successful surgery op. I have 20/400 in my left eye and im waiting on the V.A to schedule a surgery date which has been a year already and god knows how much longer I'll have to wait. Sucks cause its really affecting me both in my professional life and during off hours like when I go shooting, but all I can do now is wait
Now go home and get yer shine box....

I've got lots of .223 reloads...what caliber(s) are you looking for, and where do you want to shoot?
