Need AK advice

Looking to get an ak but am very new to them.

I am wondering of someone can tell me the difference between an o-pap and n-pap. The o-pap is about $130 more expensive on Atlantic. All I can tell is that it has surplus furniture.

Anyone that can school me on entry level ak's would be very appreciated.

They're the same rifle. The only difference is the OPAP is built using a 1.5mm receiver featuring a beefed up bulged (RPK type) front trunnion. You can't go wrong buying the NPAP with a 1mm receiver either. Both are imported Serbian guns with heat treated receivers and non chromelined barrels.
