    Another encounter with fish & game

    Was at oroville clay pits this morning with the kids. About 10am fish and game called a cease fire and walked the entire line for "compliance check". His words not mine. Everyone had AR's or some sort of black rifle and it was packed. He came to my table, said those words. My reply was "yep bullet buttoned and 10 round mags." He did even check the mags but looked at the rifles close. Didn't pick any up just looked. He looked down at my ammo and then at my cmmg 308. And asked if I was shooting that in that gun. I said ya it's an ar10. He then said better make sure u clean after u are done.ohhh yeah was my answer. He knew I was shooting corrosive. Gave me a nod and went to the next table

          Sorry I'm not impressed. I wish they would do a "compliance check" in some of the Oakland nei
          ghborhoods, THEN I would be impressed.

                                  Why would fish and game be checking in Oakland?

                                  ... unless you're implying that it's just a bunch of fishy animals that live there ...

                                          Oroville range is on CDFW owned property, and is managed by CDFW and the county SO, and in a Wildlife Area.
