While I have always had issues with how Ares has screwed gun builders and won't support their business. I don't see the issue with them taking pictures of you in a place open to the public. Just think of how many times a day you're picture is taken by surveillance cameras without you even noticing. In this instance, you are wrong. Besides, did you ask them to delete the security camera footage of you and your license plate? Or, is that OK?

Why anyone wants to go there anyway?

Besides screwing over a ton of people on group buys, they do more harm than good for us. They are a net-negative so I hope they go away. I could care less what VerboseNfancy says.

Ask who? this happened Before they opened. When we came back and asked his whereabouts he was gone.

Your telling me if someone shoves a camera into your work truck, photographing you, the inside of your vehicle and plates your ok with it?

The pics will probably surface at a BATF / Ares defense trial.

This is not good customer service.

If the OP was in the parking lot or in front of the store, that would be considered a public space, it's not illegal for them to photograph you.

But as Bluesman asked, "would you be ok with it?". I personally would not be, but with all of the heat this place is getting, I would probably avoid it to begin with. From last I heard, didn't Ares turn over the names of their customers?

Security cameras run 24/7 so, you would need to ask whomever is in charge of all the security systems anywhere you go or get close to.

No different than paparazzi. They can take photos if they want and you can not like it, but that's about it.

If you're really so upset, see what you can do. Just understand that they have the right to say "no" and you have the right not to patronize them.

My neighbor asked the police for me to stop filming her and that I was invading her privacy. The police said if she does not want to be filmed then stay away from my yard. I set cameras up to see who was throwing trash in my front yard.

We planned this last weekend when we were at BLM.

Don't care about interior security, this is a given.

Were talking about the inside of his truck cab.

OP wrote, this is just an FYI.

We were supporting these guys because we believe that no crime is being committed.

We do not believe that keeping the home build a secret is in any way beneficial to exercising this right.

We do not believe that if we remain silent, BATF and the state gun grabbers will just go away.
