OC Crossroads Show - worth it?

Considering going to the OC gun show this weekend. Are the epic gun show lines that made the news last year still the norm? Is the time worth it if you are just after ammo?

Powder and ammo lines are shorter particularly on Sunday. I have been buying 556 from LAX Xpress and never stand in line.

I went to the last one in OC. There were lines, not as bad, but lines none the less. But, there was still ammo to be had at 3pm on Saturday, along with plenty of reloading components.
Don't know what Sunday was like.

If you want .22LR or powder, get in line at 9 am Saturday. Everything else, wait for Sunday, less crowded and deals can be made. It's still a 1/2 mile walk-in from the parking lot, real fun carrying ammo back to your car.

Buy the ticket online to save 30 minutes.

With parking and ticket cost you're already 20 bucks in the hole so if you're attending to save 4 bucks on reloading powder, forget it.

Bring a portable two wheeler if your buying cases of heavy ammo.

Bring a backpack with lunch unless you like spending $13 bucks for a bad sandwich.

            Thanks for the feedback.

I can't even go now, spent the next two month's of shooting budget on a G26 today.
