Remington 770 300 win mag comes with busnell 3X9 scope, 4 boxes of ammo. All black synethic stock 24 inch barrel. Guy wants 300 plus ppt fees. Is this deal worth jumping on?

Rem 770 is a beater gun. The ammo is worth over 100 bucks. The scope is worth btwn 75 and 100. So a 100.00 rifle.

Yea do get what you pay for. I had one in 7mm mag. I beat that thing up and it always held a zero and went bang. I'd buy it.

The Remington 770 in 30.06 or 7 mm mag is $349 on sale at Big 5 about every other week. Don't think I have ever seen it in 300 win mag at Big 5. Its fine as an entry level bolt action rifle. That gives you an idea of what its worth new anyways.

At that price it's a good deal (basically getting $100+ in ammo for free and saving on paying sales tax on the rifle). So if that's all you can afford then go for it. The 770 just isn't a rifle I would buy if I could afford something else.
