"Clips" and "shotties" are still far more annoying. Probably because it is being said by people who supposedly like guns and aren't reporters.

I think it's a good thing that the media continues to exaggerate / lie. We have to remember that the bulk of the "silent majority" are undecided, and some are even reasonably intelligent.
The constant flow of lies and exaggeration, the obvious use of politically-charged terms, as opposed to attempts at journalism, is the media digging its own grave, and will drive more and more to our side.

When I first read the title, I though it was going to be about the Arsenal rifles. But being that it's about verbiage, I couldn't agree more with those that made comments about how it's missused.
Had said that, and to the individual with the woods, you have a wonderful collection. Each persons collection is a symbolization of what they like, not what they should have!Comment

I guess I have both, then.Originally posted by DRHThe worst part is that they are using the word incorrectly.
An arsenal is where guns are manufactured.
An armory is where guns are stored.

If you had a firing pin and a single spent brass shell you'd be considered to have a arsenal by the media.Oppressors can tyrannize only when they achieve a standing army, an enslaved press, and a disarmed populace. -- James Madison
The Constitution shall never be construed to authorize Congress to prevent the people of the United States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms. -- Samuel Adams, Debates and Proceedings in the Convention of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, 86-87 (Pearce and Hale, eds., Boston, 1850)Comment

Does it apply if they are all just for me or only if I'm issuing them to friends? So I was driving home from the range and I noticed that the scent of warm steel, burnt gunpowder and lukewarm coffee combined and smelled oddly of... Peanut butter?! Man, the Hoppe's is going to my head.
