    Guns of Distinction, Palm Desert

Was watching the local news an hour ago (Coachella Valley), the piece was about the possibility of the expansion of CCW's in California.

They were talking to an employee (or owner?) of the Guns of Distinction, in Palm Desert, he stated he was against it (civilian CCW) and tries to steer people to pepper spray or tasers.

I looked at their on-line site and yelp ratings, one guy gave him one star because they would not accept an on-line ar15 shipment (sale/dros), because "you can do bad things with those types of rifles".

I would have guessed gun shop owners and employees would be more pro-CCW or 2nd AM? If not just to get more business,

So he only supports military members for CCW? (LEOs are "civilians", too).

I've been in the shop; talked to the owners.

    Idiots.

    And overpriced.

Is this the place on 111 at ... I want to say Portola? Just east of Sub King?

Skip them. There's another place down on Cook & Hoveley (I think it was Hoveley) that has plenty of EBR's.

Sounds like a shop that doesn't want any business. What's the point in even existing with that type of mentality?

That's what my wife said! I was building a 308 80% lower when she ran and got me to see the news piece. Wonder if the owners are retired LEO?

I've been in there, not much of a selection, and owner/employees are dorks. Wouldn't order me a Glock when Glock had their Military specials, said he wouldn't make much off the sale, so I told now you won't make anything, bye.
