Another one of those which guns should i get post?

    Hello CalGuns,
This is one of my very few posts... But i wanted to get some outside information or some tips from those who have been around guns a lot longer than I have.. So.. I was told by my father after receiving my Bachelors degree this spring he would spend 2,000$ on a new gun for me. So i thought hmmmm.. I would much rather get two guns than one.. Heres what i was thinking.. Yugo ak47 (650$) and a 12 gauge remmington 11-87 (700$) since i dont have a shotgun yet. That will leave me with something around 500$. Any advice one what i should do with leftovers? Either get a handgun for 600$? Or spend it on upgrades/ammo/mags? Thank you so much for your help and insight! If you have suggestions about the two guns I already mentioned feel free to guide me along what you think would be the right way to go. Thanks in advance.

    Training!!!!!!!!

    Practice makes PERMANENT........

What ever you do over and over becomes your default.... I had developed a flinch and I did a bunch of wrong stuff to cure myself... It is amazing what a class or series of classes can do to develop your skills and mindset...

I wish that I would have taken classes to learn to shoot correctly early on... You can waste so much ammo, time and money on stuff...

For the balance of money- Get training....

If you are thinking that one day you might keep a firearm for self defense- take that type of training

If you like shooting ducks and clays, take some of the skeet clinics....

It is the Musician and not the guitar that makes the difference.....

Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT
