Ron at the Gunshop is a very good guy. Does a lot for the NRA and other gun organizations. Yes, he will never go into any area he thinks is"gray" right or wrong, but I know I wouldn't want to be hassled by the feds and DOJ either. We need our local gun shops more than ever.

I have been to the "Gun Shop" twice.....It has that "Old Timey" cowboy gun shooter feel to it.. The guys behind the counter seemed really crotchety.

The Raspy Rabbit was pretty good, they seem eager to help and are into black rifles..

Stay out of Santa Fe guns on Sierra Hwy in Palmdale, that is unless you have money to burn...

The best was Sandy at High Desert Storm, not sure if she still owns the shop but she was very nice. Did PPT's, would order anything that was legal... That was always my first stop and then if I wasn't busy, the Gun Shop. SF was just for laughs, no customers no laughs and out the door.

Haven't been there in awhile; it is my impression that Mike and company mostly man the front desk. The selection on the wall looks thin, but they got lots of toys in the back. Great people. Raspy Rabbit are swell folks as well. Both places are EBR friendly.

Don't worry. About 10 years ago I asked if they could do a transfer on a CZ52. They got all high and mighty telling me it was not on the DOJ approved list. Told them it was C&R, but no...... I actually went to the angry midget at Santa Fe Douche and Galleria for my CZ52.

I get along well with don ron and jeff. The others are full of themselves, i change the subject immediately such as in the middle of their sentence. Plus everytime we go in there, at least 2 of them have band aids on their noses, we have an inside joke for that...
