All their 80% lowers are currently showing OOS. I bet it has to do with their surprise guests.

Rumor has it that almost all of the batfe's resources and manpower are focused on 80%'s right now.

Notice that Ares Armor removed all of their polymer "jigless" lowers from their site as well..

I had a feeling this would happen, part of the reason I grabbed so many. I may have a collection of the hardballer of the 80% word.

This must be atleast close to a record to go from shop opening to raided.

See? We all just have to revert to 79% lowers.

                Problem solved.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

i wondered that too, they where claiming 90 or 95% lowers and was pretty bold about it.

Which means butkus. There is no actual legal ATF or DOJ definition of the valued % of completion; they could have called it 20% lower or 99% lower for that matter. Likely they did that merely to make theirs sound easier to complete than an "80%" lower, (and apparently it was by gun enthusiast terms ) - but in reality it's an uncertain term other than what has been commonly accepted by gun enthusiasts in meaning alone. How much finishing and working is required as considered "Home Built" never actually had a % attributed to it and even then I don't think there is actual itemized list of what that work means to BE considered "Home Built". That ambiguity could work both ways, unfortunately.

The complexity level itself even varies; an "80%" AR lower is wholly a different story in capability to complete, than an "80%" HK91/G3/CETME-style lower (receiver).

They are saying on FaceBook that only the rear take down lug area needs finishing,

i'm pretty sure the 90% just had the rear take down pin area complete

you still had to hog out the channel and drill the 3 holes but they had epa engraved on the deck and that may have removed 1mm from the pocket

i did think it was weird for them to mold "auto" in the "epl"
