    9mm

I found this Herter's Select Grade Handgun Ammunition on sale now at Cabela's 50 round for $13.99 Plus $5 for the shipping, Code:34FLAT. I am not sure it is clean and reliable ammo? Anyone has experience with this ammo? Thanks

Is it brass case? If not, price is a bit high when you include shipping.

    Better deals can be had.

As far as how clean it is, I've only used the .223, and it was pretty dirty.

    YMMV

Herters Select is brass cased and will do the job. It's just as clean as any other commercial load. I'm pretty sure its manufactured by a reputable known manufacturer but I can't think of the name. Sellier and Bellot maybe?

Be careful with Herter's, as most of it is steel cased. Especially their .223/5.56mm, 7.62 x 39mm and 7.62 x 54r... Unless you want steel or can otherwise shoot steel (consult your range). I was at Cabela's only store here in Arizona last week. Plenty of ammo, some of it was Herter's and all of it was steel cased from what I can recall.

I've put 3 boxes of this thru my Baretta PX4 with no issues. It is brass cased.

Depending on how much you're planning to buy, Gandermountain.com might offer a better deal. Their is min. $50 for free shipping, vs min. $99 for $5 shipping at Cabelas.

No sales tax on both sites.
